About Us
Bharatiya Grameen Mahila Sangh was found in 1955 for welfare, uplift and empowerment of women and children. It constitutes women old-age and orphanage.
The orphanage has around 150 children and they come from very difficult background. Due to financial issues, the children lacked proper education, accommodation and food. It would be hard to imagine good future of children in absence of basic facilities.
In 2003, some friends from London and Shishukunj has come in support of children and since then made considerable difference in their life.
For example, till 2008 the children had to go out few kilometres away for study where now the English medium SHISHUKUNJ VIDYALAYA is opened within campus with highly qualified school staff.
