Shishukunj

About Us

Shishukunj Limuru Kendra operates every alternate Saturday from 2 pm to 5 pm. This Kendra caters to African children of Limuru. At present, there are 105 children attending the Kendra, with a team of five dedicated volunteers, led by Ms. Martha Ndanu of Shishukunj Nursery, Limuru.

The timetable of the Kendra is as follows:

• 2.00 – 3.00 pm: Games
• 3.00 – 3.30 pm: Baal Sabha
• 3.30 – 4.15 pm: Baudhik, Music and Reading sessions
• 4.15 – 4.30 pm: Snacks
• 4.45 – 5.00 pm: Prayers and closing

Music classes are very popular among the children in this Kendra.
