Shishukunj International Foundation has bought a school campus in the midst of a natural eco-system of Kutch which will provide a live laboratory for environment-related work. The campus is spread over 18 acres of rural land 10 km from Bhuj, Gujarat.
Shishukunj Bhuj currently has 163 children from kindergarten to Class Seven being educated with the approach of “A different school of thought.” The school will eventually offer Kindergarten to 12th Standard education for up to 1000 boys and girls, following the CBSE board.
Some updates from the site of SHISHUKUNJ INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, Bhuj
- Construction Work of the First Phase has been completed.
- A proper road has been constructed leading to the school, and electricity connection has been availed.
- A permanent boundary wall has been created to safeguard trees, plants, construction site and school.
- Shishukunj International School (SIS Bhuj) has now moved to its new premises.
- Facilities for sports like Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volley Ball and a running track have been created.
- The construction work for Second Phase has started.
