School in a Box in Gujarati Language
School in a Box, conceptualized by Director of Rishi Valley Education Centre, Sri Y.A. Padmanabha Rao, Smt. Rama Padmanabha Rao, and Rishivanam staff, is a comprehensive educational programme based on the multi-level, multi-grade methodology. Nearly 2000 illustrated study cards and other teaching aids completely equip an elementary school in the areas of Language, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies up to class 5. This material is available in Gujarati so that it can be used for the benefit of children in Gujarat. The material has been developed in both electronic and print form and has been distributed in some of the supported organizations of SIF.
Montessori Kit
Maria Montessori writes about the characteristics of her own materials that the principal quality of material is to attract the attention of the child and to provoke a permanent reaction within the child; another quality of material is that it is systematic, all the objects are connected in a series and together form a material of development and the final quality is that it contains the control of error- as the child uses the material, the material shows the child his mistakes and, in this free path the child can correct these errors.
The Montessori Kit contains four categories of materials:

- Mathematical Materials and;
- Language Materials
